We are professional German shepherd dog breeder, this is our full time
job, it is not a hobby or a WEEKEND ADVENTURE. Therefore we cannot afford to
make mistakes as it could be disastrous for you, for us and our
"world-class", world ranked Günbil German shepherd dogs. Choosing the right
veterinarian is crucial for our dogs health care needs and the over-all
success of our German shepherd breeding program.
Your veterinarian will have an important role in your dog's life. There will
be regular visits from puppyhood to senior citizenship and the necessary
element in this three way partnership is TRUST. Most pet owners when
choosing a vet, don't give it the consideration that it deserves as we are
pretty trusting of professionals. Unfortunately, not every vet is a dog’s
best friend. There are good veterinarians and there are bad veterinarians as
in every profession. Choosing the right veterinarian can make a world of

Working with a qualified veterinarian who is experienced
in specialty of veterinary medicine will eliminate the guess work from your
general vet. Another words, if you want your dog hips X-rayed go to an
Orthopedic as this vet specializes in this procedure your "general" vet does
NOT.
There is a state association in your state to call and to check up on your
veterinarian but all it can provide is if any disciplinary actions have been
taken against that particular veterinarian. as a profession, unfortunately
they are not really monitored.
For any major medical concerns, seek a second or third opinion. You are
entitled to copies of your animal medical records and x-rays. |
